The quiet and seemingly small village of Gogolevo keeps a colorful history, which you can get acquainted with during a leisurely stroll.
The tour tells about Nikolo-Khlavitsky pogost, about the transition of these lands from one province to another, about the unification of the three settlements, about the hard war years and the subsequent revival of the village. The route passes by the church, which was destroyed during the Second World War and later rebuilt, by the old cemetery fence, by the school, which in the past had many pupils.
At the end of the village tour you can move on to the next and visit the historical exhibit, demonstrating the life of a typical Gogolevo hut of the twentieth century.
