1. Digest of the scientific & practical conference

In October, 2014 a scientific and practical conference "Modern trends in the development of natural protected areas" was held in Polistovsky Reserve; it was dedicated to the twentieth anniversary of the Reserve. The event was attended by representatives of the Belarusian and Russian Nature Reserves and National Parks, research institutes, and institutions of higher education. Wide range of problems and issues actual for employees of environmental education and scientific departments of PAs was discussed at the meeting. A collection of articles including more than fifty items was released after the conference. You can download it in russian right here.
