Teachers and children

One of the main tasks of Polistovsky Reserve is to promote ecological and environmental knowledge. Iinteraction with educational institutions is chosen as a priority for this task.

Employees of the department of environmental education and interpreration regularly held informational lessons in schools of Bezhanitsky and Loknyansky districts and beyond, and also act as organizers of various environmental events, actions, workshops and competitions for children and adults.

The purpose of these events - to explain the need for wildlife protection, to awaken responsibility for the preservation of the environment in its natural state; and to cultivate respectful and kind attitude to nature, instead of the consumer.

At the eco-lessons school children and kindergarteners acquainted with the nature of their native land, the importance of care for the environment; and with the activities of Polistovsky Reserve. Also there are small workshops, quizzes and contests held as part of the lessons.

Environmental events include creative activities for children and for the whole family - participants draw environmental leaflets and pictures, take photoes and videos, build birdhouses and bird feeders, also children help in cleaning public places of garbage. Thus guys show by their own example that even a small man is able to make this world better and cleaner, the main things are the desire and diligence.

Taking part in environmental events and activities, children not only reveal their creativity, but also learn to be more attentive and humane to the world around them. In addition, adults - leaders and teachers who organize their young charges are often involved in the actios or events, as well as parents who do not remain indifferent, and help their children while performing different tasks.

We are open to new ideas and experience exchange and glad to consider your proposals for the organization of joint environmental events!
