Schoolchildren got acquainted with the PAs of Russia at the photo exhibition at Philosophovy historical and cultural center
Today the students of Bezhanitskaya school attended Polistovsky Reserve event, dedicated to the protected areas of Russia. It was held at Philosophovy Historical and Cultural Center in Bezhanitsy, where the photo exhibition "Protected Areas of Russia" started its work.
The pupils of the 5th form got acquainted with more than 100-year history of nature protection in our country, with the first national nature reserve of Russia - Barguzinsky, with different types of PAs, the purposes of their creation and the regime of protection, and also tried their knowledge in the interactive game "Connoisseurs of Nature".
The presentation by the staff of Polistovsky Reserve included fragments of video materials about nature reserves and national parks located in different parts of Russia - from the Kaliningrad region to Kamchatka. Сhildren were mostly impressed by the picturesque natural shots and rare species of animals - whales, Amur tigers and Bashkir bees.
The guys were perfectly prepared for the interactive game and answered all questions about the protected areas of Russia, animals, plants and environmental problems. The best students coped with questions about the nearest to Bezhanitsy protected area - Polistovsky Reserve. The best participants of the game received souvenirs from Polistovsky Reserve.
A photo exhibition demonstrating the beauty of the protected areas of Russia will work in the Philosophovy historical and cultural center (Bazhanitsy) until the end of January. Admission is free.
