Reference

The slogan of the action in 2016 - "Take a step towards the planet!" The main theme of this year's Earth Hour is the ecological footprint - the area of wilderness of both land and sea needed to supply resources to a human population and to assimilate human waste.

The ecological footprint is a load indicator on the environment produced by people, organizations, regions, and nations as a whole.
