Nikolay Korablev was appointed director of the Polistovsky Reserve. The corresponding order was signed by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kobylkin on August 19.
Nikolay Korablev, professor, doctor of biological sciences. At 2017 he defended his doctoral dissertation "Microevolutionary processes in populations of translocated species on the example of the Eurasian beaver, raccoon dog, American mink".
Before being appointed director of the Reserve, he taught at the Velikie Luki State Agricultural Academy, collaborated with Russia nature protected areas, including the Central-Forest Biosphere Reserve and Polistovsky Reserve.
Nikolay Korablev began to perform his duties on August 21, 2020.
