Eco-class in Bezhanitsy settlement is opened
On the 15th of November, an ecological class of Polistovsky Reserve was opened in the settlement of Bezhanitsy. On the opening day the All-Russian interactive lesson "Conservation of rare species" was held for the 4th grade pupils of Bezhanitsy school.
The opening was attended by representatives of the Administration of Bezhanitsky District and the House of Children's Art, where the ecological class is located.
The lesson began with the game “Get ready for an expedition,” during which the guys tried themselves in the role of researchers of the wild nature of the Arctic, the Far East and Altai mountains. After watching the videos dedicated to the nature of these amazing places, the students gathered in teams and tried to assemble the necessary equipment for a scientific expedition, and then told what and how they would explore.
The guys also learned the "ABC of Nature", where each letter represents a rare animal species. If at least one letter disappears, the familiar words and names are distorted, the same happens in nature with the disappearance of species. To avoid this, fourth-graders played the game “We will fix everything”: they deciphered pictures depicting rational waste management, conservation of forests, protection of habitats, and others.
As it turned out, the guys know a lot of rare species of animals and plants that need protection, and can tell what to do to help them.
The ecological class will continue its work: regular classes for organized groups of schoolchildren will be held here, and on Fridays at 15:00, everyone can come to the eco-class to try their hand at ecological games. In the future, it is also planned to hold thematic meetings and open lectures. Follow the news!
