Polistovsky Reserve is a protected natural area located in Pskov Region. The Reserve was established on the 25th of May, 1994 and preserves a part of the largest in Europe system of raised bogs - Polistovo-Lovatskaya - in its natural state. This area of lakes, bogs and "diving" rivers appeared after the Valdai glacier more than 10 thousand years ago. The Reserve plays an important role in preserving the biological diversity of Europe, especially rare species of waterbirds. The protected landscapes of Polistovo-Lovatsky wetlands are full of mysteries and attract the lovers of ecological tourism with their special, enigmatic beauty.

Pulkovo Airport is the fourth largest in Russia in terms of passenger traffic. For four months of 2018, Pulkovo served 4.5 million passengers, it's 10.2% more than in the same period in 2017."Air Gate of the Northern Capital" LLC is the main operator of Pulkovo Airport since 2010. The company manages the airport on the basis of public-private partnership and realizes the project of its reconstruction and development without attraction of budgetary funds.
